About
Martin Boehme
Since 2007 I have worked at the interface of politics, associations and administration.
As Managing Director of the Chamber of Engineers of Rhineland-Palatinate (since 2012) and of the State Association of Liberal Professions (since 2018), I know self-governance and board work from practice. I have been a Member of the European Economic and Social Committee since 2020, including as rapporteur on public procurement and as President of the Ethics Committee.
Before that, I was responsible for the Southeast Asia regional programme at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, with six country offices. I studied political science in Mainz (M.A.).
